An escape room is an environment where players are “locked” into a room filled with puzzles, riddles and problem solving challenges requiring them to solve a mystery or even “escape” the room itself.
It is an immersive environment designed to raise your pulse, challenge your mind and enhance your teamwork skills.
No, but we want to keep that illusion to heighten your experience.
No special skills or abilities are required to play other than a basic understanding of English. Also, at least one of your party members must be able to distinguish between different colors.
You’ll be constantly monitored by your own personal Game Master by way of our surveillance systems. If you want a hint or need help just ask.
No, there are no physically demanding challenges. Our goal is to get your pulse racing and your mind working, but no running, jumping or climbing of any kind is required.
No phones, flashlights or pictures taken inside the rooms please.
Outside tools are not needed to be successful. Besides, we want our creepy rooms to stay that way.
No. Food or drinks are not allowed in our rooms.
No, all rooms are private.
Of course you can, but we can not stop the clock or reset your time due to later appointments.
The game lasts a maximum of 60 minutes, although you may escape earlier. You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your start time, and afterwards there is a brief opportunity for photos and feedback. We recommend about 90 minutes for your total experience.
Games start exactly at their published start time. You must arrive 15 minutes beforehand to check in and sign waivers.
There are no refunds or rescheduling for late arrivals. All party members must be present for the event to start. Please see our booking page for complete policy details.
Absolutely! Please contact us if you would like to plan a corporate or team building event. We will attempt to work with your business' schedule to give you a fun and productive experience.
Our rooms best times and teams are updated weekly for all you competitive types.
Minors under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult in the room.
Due to many small objects in the rooms, we do not allow children and toddlers under the age of 6. Car seats, carriers and strollers are also not allowed.
THE CLOCK AND TIME USAGE
All rooms have a monitor to help you keep track of your time and hints.
Time is working against you, but don’t panic! Just keep moving and thinking! Also, make sure your party gets to the event 15 minutes before you games start time (sign waivers, use restrooms). That way you get the full 60 minutes.
PROPS
You need to search and explore the entire room, but not all props are part of a puzzle. If you can’t lift it, twist it, push it or pick it up with two fingers, that prop is not meant to be moved.
Also, stay organized! Almost all keys and codes are used only once per room, so place all props and puzzles already used in one spot, and leave keys in their locks.
WORK AS TEAM, BUT INDIVIDUALLY
What we mean by that is everyone should split up and work different puzzles, not bunch up. Call out for a teammates' help if you’re getting stuck. Some puzzles require all team members working together to complete.
AND SPEAKING OF CALLING OUT
When you do find a clue let the room know what and where. Someone may need that clue to solve a puzzle they are working on.
READY TO COMPETE?
Assign team roles. The Searchers (check everywhere & everything), The Record Keeper (working math or reading puzzles and taking notes) and The Team Lead, watching the clock and keeping the game moving smoothly.
STUCK ON A PUZZLE?
Don’t get frustrated. Around you are all the clues you need to solve every puzzle. If all else fails, ask for a hint.
